I started my career in law, working across Italy, London, China and Hong Kong, supporting international businesses across different cultures. Over time, I found myself more drawn to people, places and experiences than legal frameworks.

Over the past several years, I've specialised in premium property management, hospitality and revenue optimisation, helping distinctive homes achieve exceptional guest satisfaction and stronger performance. Consistently recognised as an Airbnb Superhost, I've managed properties that have earned Airbnb's Guest Favourite badge for exceptional guest satisfaction and positive reviews.

Being close to the homes, the owners and the day-to-day details of how a stay comes together is what I've enjoyed most.

Living in Portugal has deeply shaped how I see travel. The ocean, the slower rhythm of life and the connection to nature have made me more aware that many travellers are seeking experiences that are more meaningful, authentic and connected to the places they visit.

My vision for Kayora brings all of this together: hospitality, design, local craftsmanship and a more intentional way of experiencing destinations. I'm especially passionate about nature, the ocean, yoga and working with local artisans particularly empowering women creating homes and stays that feel thoughtful, immersive and genuinely connected to place.

Kayora Studio is led by Ash Correia a global designer with over 30 years of experience across Africa, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and the United States. Her career has taken her from designing schools in Brooklyn, New York, to 11 years immersed in corporate interior design in Sydney, delivering landmark projects for global clients including HSBC and Johnson & Johnson.

Ash has operated at the highest levels of international design, including significant projects for the Sultanate of Oman in the Middle East bringing rigorous attention to detail, cultural sensitivity and design intelligence to each commission, regardless of scale or geography.

Every project begins with listening to the landscape, the history of the building, and the people who will inhabit it. From there, spaces are built to feel inevitable: considered, layered and entirely their own. The result is interiors that are beautiful because they are honest.

The studio works closely with local artisans and makers ceramicists, weavers, carpenters and metalworkers sourcing materials and objects that carry meaning. Services span full interior design, concept and FF&E, art direction and artisan collaboration. A limited number of projects are taken on each year to ensure full creative attention is given to every space.

Ash designs with natural, sustainable materials sourcing locally wherever possible and collaborating directly with local artists, makers and craftspeople to create spaces with genuine depth and soul.
